You have 48 hours after creating a Muse account to redeem an invite code. The clock belongs to your new account, rather than to the code you receive. Redeeming within that window gives you and the person who shared the code 1 billion tokens each for a qualifying referral. Find a code early and finish the redemption in Muse Settings.

Work out your deadline from registration

Start with the date and time you created your Muse account. Add 48 hours to find the end of the redemption window. For an account created at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, that point is 9 a.m. on Thursday. Finding a code on Wednesday does not move the deadline to Friday.

If you start looking 24 hours after registration, you have already used half the window. If you start 40 hours after registration, eight hours remain. These examples all use the same starting point: the account’s creation time. Copying a code again, receiving one from a different person, or switching to another community code does not reset it.

If you still need a code, get one from the free MuseInvite community pool. Then open muse.ai or the Muse App and go to Settings → General → Redeem invite code. The step-by-step redemption guide covers the route and the checks to make before submitting.

Copying a code and redeeming it are separate steps

A copied code is ready to paste, but it has not yet been redeemed. Complete the action in Muse’s redemption interface during your account’s window. If you save the code in a message or note, remember that the registration clock keeps running while it sits there.

After entering the code, follow the page’s instructions and read the result. Checking the result while you are still in Muse gives you a chance to catch an error and respond while time remains. For example, if the code has reached its usage cap, you can look for another code before your account’s deadline.

The code’s capacity and your account’s timing are separate requirements. A code with uses remaining cannot extend an older account’s window. Equally, an account registered a few hours ago may encounter a code that is already full. Check both when working through a failed attempt; repeating the same action without identifying the issue uses more of your remaining time.

What happens after 48 hours?

Once the window has passed, you may still see a place to enter a code, but you may not receive the referral reward. The visible field does not add more time to your account. Choosing a different code also leaves your registration time unchanged, even if that code still has capacity.

Read the message Muse shows after an attempt and compare it with your account’s timing. If you are outside the 48-hour window, another code does not solve that timing issue. If you are inside it, check the code text and its remaining capacity. The Muse invite code troubleshooting guide helps you work through those possibilities.

“Never expires” describes the reward pool

The official reply describes a reward pool labeled “Never expires” and separately requires redemption within 48 hours of registration. The label concerns the reward pool; the deadline concerns when a new user must enter an invite code. Keep both in mind when deciding when to redeem.

The two-day window is therefore a deadline for claiming the referral reward through redemption. It is not a two-day lifetime for the awarded tokens. You do not need to rush because of the pool label; you need to act promptly because your newly created account has a limited redemption window.

The reward for a qualifying referral is 1 billion tokens per person. That gives the new user 1 billion and the inviter another 1 billion in their own account. Our Muse referral rewards explanation covers how that amount adds up across several new users.

Share the deadline along with your code

When you send your code to someone, include the redemption route and the 48-hour requirement in the same message. A useful version is: “Enter this in Muse Settings → General → Redeem invite code within 48 hours of creating your account.” The recipient can then act without searching for separate instructions.

Remember the code’s usage limit as well. The current cap is 30 uses. Check the invite code usage-limit guide if you are sharing a code with several people. For each recipient, the next step remains simple: check their registration time, enter the code in Settings, and read the result.
