If your Muse invite code is not working, check your account’s registration time, the code’s remaining uses, and the pasted text. Then read the exact message Muse shows. Those three checks help you decide whether to correct the code, try another one, or stop because the account’s 48-hour window has passed.

Open the redemption field first

On muse.ai or in the Muse App, go to Settings → General → Redeem invite code. The entry is also described as Settings > Redeem Code. You want the field for entering another person’s code, rather than the place where you view or share your own.

If you are still looking for the field, follow the Muse invite code redemption guide. Keep the original code available while you open it. Once you reach the field, enter only the code itself and read the response after submitting it. Copying a code from a page is the preparation step; Muse accepting the redemption is the result to check.

Check when you registered

You need to redeem within 48 hours of creating your Muse account. Count from registration, rather than from when you received, copied, or first tried the code. If you are unsure when you signed up, confirm that time before assuming the code is the problem.

For example, receiving a code 24 hours after registering leaves part of the original window; it does not start another 48 hours. Receiving one more than 48 hours after registration cannot reopen the window. A different code will not change that account timing either.

The input field may remain visible after the deadline even though the referral reward is no longer available. If the window has passed, repeatedly changing codes will not resolve it. The 48-hour rule guide explains why a visible field and an eligible account are separate questions.

Check whether the code is fully used

The current cap is 30 uses per code, with limits of 20–30 depending on the promotion batch. A code that worked for somebody earlier can have reached its limit since then. Check the message from your own attempt instead of relying on the date of a community post or somebody else’s successful redemption.

If Muse reports that the code has reached its limit and your account is still within 48 hours, choose another code with available redemptions from the free community pool. The code use-limit guide explains how batch limits affect capacity.

Compare the code character by character

Return to the original message or displayed code and compare it with the field. Look for a missing character, an extra space, or explanatory text copied alongside the code. Check the start and end as well as the middle, then make the entry match the original before trying again.

If you pasted a whole sharing message, remove everything except the code. If you typed it manually, copying the original can help you avoid repeating a transcription mistake. Keep the same source available until you have read Muse’s result, so you can distinguish a corrected entry from an unchanged retry.

Review your account’s redemption history

If you have already successfully redeemed another person’s code, include that earlier result in your troubleshooting notes. Keep the current message beside it and record which code produced each response. That makes it easier to explain what happened when asking for help with an account-specific error.

A missing reward alone does not identify the cause. Start with the message from the current attempt, then match it with the registration time, entered text, and code capacity. Avoid cycling through more codes until you know which of those checks needs attention.

Check regional availability and the interface

Muse is currently mainly available in the United States and Canada (per community reports — check your app). If the redemption entry is missing or a feature is shown as unavailable, read the App’s message and note the screen you reached. Use that information when asking about availability for your account.

Keep a short record before asking for help

  • Note whether you used muse.ai or the App, and which Settings entry you opened.
  • Record your registration time and whether you are still within 48 hours.
  • Save the exact redemption message and any previous successful result.
  • Keep the original code and check it against what you entered.

With those details together, the next step is clearer: fix a text mismatch, replace a fully used code while your account is eligible, or ask for help interpreting an unclear message. You can explain the attempt precisely instead of starting the same checks from scratch.
