A qualifying Muse referral gives 1 billion tokens to each person: the new user who redeems the code and the person who shared it. The new user must redeem within 48 hours of creating their account. The abbreviation 1B means 1 billion, so “1B each” means two separate rewards, one in each account.

Start with one referral

Suppose you share your invite code with one friend who has just created a Muse account. Your friend enters it within the 48-hour window and completes a qualifying redemption. Your friend receives 1 billion tokens, and you receive 1 billion tokens. When adding up your own rewards, count the billion awarded to you.

If three qualifying new users redeem your code, your inviter total becomes 3 billion. Each of those new users receives their own 1 billion. Their rewards do not add to the balance in your account, so keep the two sides separate when checking your progress.

The redemption step happens on muse.ai or in the Muse App, under Settings → General → Redeem invite code. The official instructions also use Settings > Redeem Code. A new user who needs a code can get one from the free MuseInvite community pool and follow the redemption guide to enter it.

How 1 billion becomes 30 billion

The current official cap is 30 uses per code. Multiply 30 qualifying redemptions by the inviter’s 1-billion-token reward to get 30 billion tokens, or 30B. This total builds up through redemptions by new users; creating or sharing a code is the starting point for reaching them.

Reward being calculatedAmount
New user’s reward for one qualifying redemption1 billion / 1B tokens
Inviter’s reward for that same redemption1 billion / 1B tokens
Inviter’s total from 10 qualifying redemptions10 billion / 10B tokens
Inviter’s total from 30 qualifying redemptions30 billion / 30B tokens

The 30-billion maximum uses the current 30-use cap; some promotions allow 20 uses. At a 20-use cap, the corresponding inviter maximum is 20 billion. The amount for each qualifying referral stays 1 billion per person in either calculation.

If you are comparing progress with someone else, first compare the applicable cap and the number of qualifying redemptions. For example, 15 qualifying referrals give the inviter 15 billion tokens under either cap, while the number of remaining uses differs. The Muse invite code usage-limit guide explains capacity in more detail.

Keep the reward pool and the redemption window separate

The official reply describes a reward pool labeled “Never expires.” It also requires the friend to redeem within 48 hours of registration. The label concerns the reward pool; the deadline concerns the new account’s action. A new user still needs to complete the invite-code step within that window.

The clock starts when the new user creates their account. If they find a code 24 hours later, half of the window has already passed. Switching to another code does not restart that clock. After 48 hours, the redemption field may still be visible, but the account may not receive the referral reward.

Send the timing requirement with your code so the recipient can act promptly. Include the Settings route as well: it gives them a clear next step instead of leaving them to search. The 48-hour rule explanation includes examples for working out the deadline.

Choose the next step for your goal

If you have a new account and want to redeem a code, start with the free pool. Copy a code, enter it in Muse Settings, and read the result. Getting a code is free, and completing redemption is the step that connects your new account to the referral.

If you already have your own code and want more people to use it, you can submit it to the public community pool for free. You can also share it directly with real new users. Give each recipient the code, the Settings route, and the registration deadline together so they have everything needed to proceed.

Finding people yourself taking too long? MuseInvite helps your code find 30 real new users to redeem it for a one-time fee of $29, with progress updates by email after payment. The fee covers finding new users; Muse awards the referral tokens. The free pool remains free for getting and submitting codes.

Choose based on the task you need help with: getting a code for your new account, or finding new users for your own code. The guide to getting more people to use your code covers sharing and the paid service. Keep track of completed redemptions as you work toward your code’s cap.
